If you have ever visited one of the following gardens:

Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Garden at Wisley in Surrey
Royal Botanic Gardens at Edinburgh
RHS Rosemoor in Devon

in March/April you may have seen both the Narcissus cyclamineus and Narcissus bulbocodium var. citrinus naturalised in thin grassy areas around the rock/alpine gardens and other areas.   They are well worth trying – these particular species are rarely offered, so if you enjoy alpine gardening why not treat yourself and buy some now!
