Anemone nemorosa ‘Robinsoniana’ AGM is a wood anemone that produces pretty, lavender blue flowers over attractive, dissected foliage.
Anemone nemorosa ‘Robinsoniana’ are wood anemone and are one of the first flowers to appear in early spring. In its natural habitat this plant grows under deciduous trees, flowering before the trees come into leaf – if you walk through your local woodlands you’ll probably see this species in abundance. They therefore a perfect low growing plant for around the base of a hedge or tree, or to fill a gap at the front of a border where there is some dappled shade. Once established they will spread to produce a wonderful carpet of colour.

We send out Anemone nemorosa in 1 litre pots for the majority of the year.
During the summer we can supply bundles of flowering sized, dormant rhizomes. These will start to root down during the autumn. This is an ideal time to plant them especially whilst the soil is still warm.
How to plant Anemone nemorosa ‘Robinsoniana’
They are very easy to grow. Water your plant in its container, some hours before planting then prepare a large enough hole and enrich with compost before planting, taking care not to damage the roots. They need to be checked regularly to ensure they are kept moist until established.
